Severstal says repays 2022 Eurobond early in rubles
MOSCOW, Aug 29 (PRIME) -- Russian steel maker Severstal has repaid a U.S. $750 million Eurobond maturing in October 2022 ahead of schedule in rubles, the company said in a statement on Monday.
Severstal made direct payments to the Eurobond owners who held the bonds on accounts with the National Settlement Depository, other Russian depositories and foreign depositories, if the latter applied for repayment in rubles.
